Frequently Asked Questions

  • How far will you travel to do a job?

I have no problem doing work in Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland County.  I have traveled to Ohio, Toronto, and in the thumb area in Michigan to do work.  I suggest you let me quote it and I will add the travel cost.

  • How long does it take you to finish the pictures and video after the job?

If I do a job on Saturday, usually I have the pictures and CD proofs in the mail by the following Monday morning.  On video I usually mail them the following Friday.

  • How do you ship your completed work?

I ship everything US Mail.

  • Do you bring a back up camera with you?

Yes I do.  Actually I bring 2 other cameras.

  • When doing the give a way pictures, what color back drop do you use?

I use two different back drops.  I Splash Blue and a Splash Gray.  I use the splash blue for parties and splash gray when taken more business like pictures like board of directors of a law office.  I have tried other colors and they do not work.

  • How many pictures do you take at an event?

When I do a job I take two shots of every picture and I use one of the two shots.  A lot depends on the amount on people attending too. I would take a lot more picture of a party of 250 then a party of 90.  Of the one I do an average of the following: Wedding Service-200, Wedding Reciption-150, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Service-100, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Reciption-225, Give a way pictures-190,

  • How come you only take 190 for give a ways when I have 240 people at my party?

It is because I only print one copy per couple and because there can be as high as 6 people in one picture. With 190 shots I can print up to 360 pictures.

  • What kind of frames do you use; do you ever use Acrylic easel frames?

I use a decorative cardboard gloss gray 4x6 frames.  It is durable, looks nice, and resists finger prints and drink spills very well.  If you want Acrylic it cost an extra $350.00

  • If I have a logo can you put it on the frame cover?

Yes I can and there is no extra charge for any frame labeling.

  • Do you do Green Screen®?

I have considered it but I feel market is not ready for it yet.  So the answer is no. There are also several copy right protection issues using green screen. You just can not drop a picture of a celebrity and print it. Besides it cost a lot more to set up green screen and I am more focused on economical packages.

  • When doing a montage, how much ahead of time do I need to get you the pictures?

I prefer 2 weeks.  That will give me time to have you review the finished product.
